“Can I have one question before I begin?”
“Yes, you may Mr. Dougal.”
You decide to beg for asylum to the embassy man.
“If the story you’re about to hear seems tough, can you please give me asylum in your country? I’ve spent my whole life basically tortured and I just want to live out what time I have left like I did when I was younger. I miss how simple things were then.”
All the people who sat down the room paused and then started discussing the question in Japanese. Even though you watched a bunch of subtitled anime when you were younger, you don’t understand what they are saying. The man in the suit then turns back to you.
“We discussed this just now Mr Dougal.” He says. “However we have a feeling that if we do that for you, we will open a flood of Americans who would want to flee to Japan. We do not have the ability to deal with that many men flooding our country. Surely you saw what happened with all those Middle Easterners who entered Europe and how it looks now?”
You feel slightly down but expected that reply.
“Yes, I understand.” you say. “I followed that completely when I was younger and would make comments in confusion as to why they would do that. I was not surprised when Sharia Law came to Sweden after that many people entered.”
“Now, Mr. Dougal, can you please tell us your story?”
You decide it’s best to go ahead and just tell them what is going on in this country.
