So you survived your morning so far and have made it to the bus. You’re slightly relieved with everything that happened so far this morning you haven’t been arrested yet. It’s always like this every morning. It’s only a matter of time before everything comes crashing down, either society or you.
A screen on the bus facing your side of the bus is playing a news story. It’s talking about the Chinese/Russian defense pact and a clip of the current President of the United States crying and throwing a temper tantrum on a press conference. You mentally call her a pussy then suddenly realize you did that. You look around to see if any cops come running but don’t see any.
“Hmm...” You think “That talk about thought readers… Does that thing even exist now?”
You watch a few more minutes of this thing. The female host talks about the last male politician of the US being sentenced to death for thought crime and treason. His execution is set for the following morning downtown. A clip shows him being thrown into the back of a van by two robotic police officers yelling the following:
“If anyone in the East sees this, please help us! If this goes on any longer the world is in danger!”
You ponder for a moment and find yourself agreeing with the guy. There’s several men left being ordered to maintain the arsenal of nuclear weapons. Although the politicians are against having anything nuclear, even nuclear power in existence anymore, nobody knows how to dispose of the old weapons. The engineers who developed the weapons were all killed years ago for “crimes against humanity”.

The bus stops at one additional stop before yours. The bus is now packed. A woman coughs and you turn your head to see her standing there. By law, you’re required to stand and give up your spot for her or you will be arrested and charged for man-spreading.
Do you:
1: Stay where you are and ignore the fact she’s standing there?
2: Give up your spot
